Summer Time Is the Best Time For a PEDICURE!

Ladies! I know this is a make-up blog, but I have a concern/suggestion: We are now officially in the summer season, which means, if you are wearing sandals, flip-flops, and open-toe shoes, you should have a pedicure! Whether or not you do it yourself or leave it to the professionals is totally up to you, but please, I implore you, take good care of your feet! Nothing is more unattractive (to most men) than a woman who has feet that she doesn't take care of.

I just started keeping up with my pedicures, using a mix of getting them professionally done and doing them myself. My FAVORITE shade this summer is "La Paz-itively Hot" by OPI http://www.opi.com

I use this color almost every time I get my pedicure (and matching manicure) done. I am a bit of a germ-o-phobe so I always buy my own polish and bring it to the spa for them to use. I also make sure that all of the tools are new that they use as well. (YES you can ask for this!)

You can also make a trip to your local beauty supply and stock up on cuticle clippers, pumice stones, sloughing cream, and foot soak so that you can do your own @ home. Feel free to post your favorite shades of nail polish in the comments section of this post.
